The host plant species of aphids could be an effective factor on life history characteristics and efficiency of their predators. Therefore, the effect of six host plant species of cabbage aphid, Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus) including cabbage, cauliflower, radish, turnip, canola and ornamental kale on development, reproduction, fecundity and life table parameters of H. variegata were studied in this research. The results showed that the suitability of aphids from various six host plants species differed for the development and reproduction of H. variegata. The total developmental time (from egg to adult emergence) was shortest (14.69 days) when reared on aphids on canola. Total fecundity rates significantly differed among tested host plants and the highest rate was observed on canola (646.44 eggs). The net reproductive rates (R0) of ladybird varied from 252.78 female offspring / female / generation on ornamental kale to 116.74 female offspring / female / generation on cabbage. Intrinsic rate of increase (rm) as an important index of suitability of prey host plant species on the population increase of ladybird beetle, varied from 0.155 day-1 on cabbage to 0.188 day-1 on canola. Based on the intrinsic rate of increase, the suitability of tested host plants in decreasing order was: canola, cauliflower, ornamental kale, radish, turnip and cabbage. Our finding may provide basic information for better understanding of the tritrophic interactions of the plant-aphid-predator relationships and also mass production of H. variegata.}, keywords = {Brassicaceae,Brevicoryne brassicae,Hippodamia variegata,Two-sex life table,Tritrophic interactions}, title_fa = {تاثیر گیاه میزبان بر کارایی زیستی کفشدوزک شکارگرHippodamia variegata (Goeze) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)}, abstract_fa = {کفشدوزک شته‌خوار Hippodamia variegata (Goeze) یک شکارگر موثر در بیشتر اکوسیستم‌های کشاورزی می‌باشد. گیاهان میزبان شته‏ها می‌توانند یک عامل موثر بر خصوصیات زیستی و کارایی شکارگرهای آنها باشند. لذا در این تحقیق اثر شش گیاه میزبان شته مومی کلم، Brevicoryne brassicae (Linnaeus)شامل کلم‌زینتی، کلم‌گل، تربچه، شلغم، کلزا و کلم‌برگ روی نشوونما، تولیدمثل و جدول زندگی کفشدوزکH. variegata مورد مطالعه قرار گرفت. داده‌های حاصل با استفاده از جدول زندگی دوجنسی تجزیه و تحلیل گردید. نتایج نشان داد که مطلوبیت شته مومی کلم پرورش یافته روی شش گونه گیاه میزبان برای شکارگر متفاوت بود. کوتاه‌ترین دوره نشوونمای مراحل نارس شکارگر در تغذیه از شته‌های پرورش یافته روی کلزا به دست آمد. میزان زادآوری کفشدوزک روی گیاهان میزبان مورد بررسی به طور معنی‌دار متفاوت بود و بیشترین زادآوری (44/646 تخم) روی گیاه کلزا مشاهده شد. نرخ خالص تولیدمثل (R0) کفشدوزک از 74/116 نتاج ماده به ازای هر فرد ماده در هر نسل روی کلم برگ تا 78/252 روی کلم‌زینتی متغیر بود. نرخ ذاتی افزایش جمعیت (rm) به عنوان یک شاخص مهم در ارزیابی مطلوبیت گونه‌های گیاه میزبان، از 011/0 ± 155/0 بر روز روی کلم‌برگ تا 010/0 ± 188/0 بر روز روی کلزا متغیر بود. بر اساس مقادیر پارامترهای محاسبه شده، مطلوب ‏ترین گیاهان میزبان در برهمکنش گیاه- شته -کفشدوزک به ترتیب عبارت بودند از کلزا، کلم-گل، کلم‌زینتی،تربچه، شلغم و کلم‌برگ. یافته‌های این تحقیق می‌تواند به عنوان اطلاعات پایه جهت درک بهتر برخی تعاملات سه گانه غذایی در ارتباط گیاه-شته-شکارگر و پرورش کارآمدتر این کفشدوزک مفید باشد.}, keywords_fa = {Brevicoryne brassicae,Hippodamia variegata,تیره Brassicaceae,جدول زندگی دو جنسی,تعاملات سه گانه غذایی}, url = {https://plantprotection.scu.ac.ir/article_12834.html}, eprint = {https://plantprotection.scu.ac.ir/article_12834_ce39d021eaa735c2665659dfefddb5ea.pdf} }
